Need help with date of manufacture...

I've got a Browning A5 20 Magnum I'm getting ready to sell for an older gentleman that has no access to internet.

Problem is, I can't figure out the date of manufacture...underside of receiver is stamped 7X1999
Barrel is stamped X1533

Gun is in very good shape, 26" barrel with bead sight an a extra barrel with vent rib...also 26".

Any of you guys know how to date it and might be able to offer some thought on value?

From 1958 to 1968 the first nunber was the year, and the letter was the Model.

So I'm gonna say it was made in 1967.

7x is a first-year Magnum 20 from 1967. The next year they started with 68x, followed by 69x and so forth.

I have no clue about barrel numbers. If the x1533 was a serial number it would be on a 16 ga. A-5 from 1947.
