I think dead is worse than in trouble with the law.. Of course there are plenty of other knife options out there that would serve as well without crossing the legal lines.

Looks like I may be violating a few laws ... thanks for the link ... the way I read it the only legal knife that can be carried 'concealed' is a pocketknife ...

Thats my understanding too unless you have a CCW. Florida authorizes CCW for virtually all weapons except machnie guns. I know when I lived in texas it was only good for a concealed handgun, not a concealed weapon like it is here in Florida.
