need help with putting the right scope on the right rifle

ok, I have a 4x weaver on the 10/22

now I have two leupolds a 2-7x x 33 and a 3-9x40

should i put the 7x or 9x on the mini14? same goes for the marlin 30-30, which scope to put on which.

it breaks down to which one has the longest distance of travel. thanks

I plan on shooting these at the 100yds next range trip.

Personally, and it's my opinion only, I would put the smaller scope on the Marlin. It can set a bit lower with proper rings, and would look better on a lever gun. That aside, even with my bad eyes I have receiver or tang sights on most of my lever guns.

i've got a 3-9x40 on my mini and i love it!

I would probably slap the 7x on the Marlin too. I would just look better in my opinion, plus you'll probably end up shooting the Mini at longer distances than the Marlin and the extra magnification maybe needed. Just my .02
