Good day all,
Going through my dad's stuff I found an Automatica Espanola in .32 cal. Had a little rust, but cleaned up ok and seems to function (did the pencil test). The problem I'm having is getting the barrel out of the slide. The recoil spring is on the barrel and there appears to be a bushing on the muzzle end. The bushing won't move in either direction but a slight bit, tried pushing down on the bushing while trying to turn it as well. Used PBlaster penetrant on it too (works great on rusted nuts and bolts on cars). I can lock the slide back and twist the barrel a 1/4 turn to unlock it from the frame, this allows me to remove the slide with the barrel in it. I would like to separate the barrel from the slide. I'm going to try and upload photos, and appreciate any advice you guys may have.
Thanks,
Ben

If you are able to get the slide and barrel off. You should be able on most of those off spanish .32s to then turn the barrel a 1/4 more one way or the other and get it out of the gun.
I am not sure where the arrow indicates if that was damage or meant to secure a bushing.
But normally as on the video at about 2:03 minutes the barrel commonly like shown on a baby .25 auto comes out by twisting and pulling forward to come out of the slide. Or maybe pull backwards and down.

Thanks for the reply Barnetmill. It appears the barrel won't come out because it's held under tension by the recoil spring and bushing. I did notice the mark you pointed out, it almost looks like a stake/punch mark, but there seems to be clearance between the slide and bushing all around.
