It is British I assume because of some of the markings but I don't think it is an Enfield bayo so I am confused.
It has a 12" dagger type blade that is double sided and quite pointy. No blood groove. It has two brass rivets through the handle that are smooth on both sides. there are no slots or anything in the rivits like I have seen on Enfield Bayos. There is a crown with the letters "VR" under it and "11 97" below that. On the other side of the tang, there is "EFD" under some type of mark that looks like tent. Below that is some mark that looks like maybe a small crown and under that "45", under that "E" and under that, there is a mark that looks like crossed canoe paddels. It also looks like the blade may be crome plated. Very strang.
Does anyone know which gun this goes to?
