the ruger P90 clip locks into my P345 and also looks exactly the same does anyone know if the clip from the P90 will feed the same though it is my duty side arm and i need to know for sure
wow, i didn't know that ruger made a firearm that could accept clips. so is this something new? i'm guessing it's a toploader, kinda like the broomhandle mauser. ooh, ooh, i know! the idea is to allow reasonable capacity for autoloaders in states like CA.
okay, i know i've been bad. slap me on the wrists with a ruler.
seriously, the p90 magazine holds seven rounds and i'm pretty sure the p345 magazines hold 8 rounds. one is tempted to ask why you would prefer a lower capacity magazine over a higher capacity magazine in a job where your life might someday depend on the extra round in a p345 magazine. extra factory magazines can't be all that expensive so you would be better off just buying brand new magazines, i think.
The 8 round mags have a different follower which some people have had feeding problems with. The older P90 mags (7 round) have plastic followers and feed flawlessly from my experience. I believe that the mag bodies are the same.
