Need info on the Sig P220

Ok, after the Results of my poll in another topic primaraly pointing to putting a Sig P220 on my "To get" list.

So I have a few questions about the P220...

The main one is, what is the going Price for one? (New & used).

what coustomisations/after market parts'acessorys are avalable for the P220?.
(EG: diffrent design Compensators, better grips, etc...)

Who makes good Thigh, Belt and Shoulder holsters for the P220?

Can a Scope be fitted if you wanted one, and is there any LAM's made for it or that will fit?
(i'm a plinking nut! and a bit of a Gearhead!)

and finaly (for now) is there any mag's for it that hold more than 7 .45 acp?
Pre-ban 12+rd as well...?

Prices go from $450 to $800 or so, depending on where you buy it. That range includes new and used.

Not too sure of doodads to hang off the gun, other than a light. My .02, go with the new stainless model that has a rail, and then take your pick on the M3 or M6 lights, or whatever else suits you.

The sport model has a comp, not sure on how it is put on (methinks it is there for show- recoil really isn't that bad with the 220). There are a myriad of sights- adjustable, fixed, night sights, etc. Grip wise, Hogues are nice, they work fine. To that end I'm not sure off hand of a scope mount.
A couple posters here have had good experiences with the ACT mags. They hold 8 rounds and are every bit as good as the factory. They are also about $20 cheaper.

Holster wise? Safariland for the thigh, any good company for the rest. If you decide on the stainless, make sure they know since the dust cover is thicker. I am currently using an Uncle Mike's kydex holster, fits and works fine.

Worse comes to worse, do a search for past threads.

Er, sorry but I ment to put the Sig P220s (the Sport Model) not the ordinary P220.....

Anyway Found a thread on sigforums Here that partaly covers the scope and compensator questions.

Would still like to find out more though....
