Need Input on a Ruger K77/22-vmbz 22 mag model 7019

I'm in the market for a .22 Mag Riffle. I was originally looking at one of the Savages. My friend has a Ruger K77/22-vmbz 22 mag (model 7019). Does anyone have any experience with this rifle? It's more expensive than the Savage, but I'm willing to trade one of my Kimber Ultra Carry IIs for the rifle and cash. I just want to know if the extra cost is worth it over a Savage. Thanks!
