Hi, is there anybody who can provide width and height of the Mossberg 500 receiver where it meets the stock?
I have a Derya shotgun and I'd like to see if I can mount the Magpul stock for the 500 with as little adaptation as possible.
I don't think they are compatible straight away, but I hope they may be close enough to be adaptable with little effort, much like the Magpul stock to the Beretta 1301 with Aridus Industries stock adapter.
Not having a Mossberg 500 at hand, I'd like for some 500 owner to take these two measures for me.

Thanks everybody.

You might want to call Magpul and Derya. I've never heard of Derya; do they make a Mossberg clone? If not I'd be surprised if the stocks are compatible.

Derya is a turkish manufacturer, well known in Italy.
I don't believe they are compatible straight away, but the measures (width and height) of the stock interface can be close enough that it can be adapted with very little work.
So not having a Mossberg 500 at hand to measure, I'd like for a 500 owner to measure it for me.
Thanks.

The measurements on my 500 are 1.868" top to bottom and 1.416" from side to side. There is of course a significant radius at the top and radiused edges at the bottom. Another thing to find out is where the stock bolt hole in your receiver is located compared to the 500 and what the respective threads are. Also the angle of the stock bolt hole. If it were me, I'd call the manufactures about compatibility.

Good luck

Just discovered that Derya Lion is commercialized in US as the Citadel Warthog. ;)
