Need OWB Holster for 15 yo Daughter and Full Size Handgun

My daughter is 5'5", wants to try IDPA competition. She will need an OWB holster for either a 9mm 5" XD, or 5" Kimber 1911. So, looking for a holster with a bit of a drop. Open to suggestions.

I think the Comp-Tac comes with a drop and offset mount. I think you'll need to order that mount separately for the Blade-Tac.

Safariland, mid drop holster. That's what I use.
The holster can be changed to different lengths easily depending on the backing plate used, from belt level to drop leg with a couple in between.

Right, I would go with one of the national brands.
I have a lot of holsters from a regional Kydex bender but his turnaround time has gone to pot and I can no longer recommend him.

FIRST: Let her shoot both guns from low ready and table top start to see which she prefers.
