As you know we are having a pro-CCW banquet in Phoenix on Saturday.

We are going to have rolling PowerPoint slide show that includes some pics of famous (and not so famous) pro-gunnie celebs. Shooting pics (such as the famous --to us-- one of Fox News Laurie Dhue smiling at the subgun course in Nevada.

Others won't have a pic of a gun ("That 70's Show's" Laura Prepon who owns a Mini 14), but that's good enough. Heck, I even found on of J-Lo with a pump shotgun, though I don't know if she's a gunnie, though I suspect she is. ;)

Please post pics or links here.

Thanks,

Rick

What about that one actress that used to be on Dallas? IIRC she has even been on the NRA board. Susan somthing or other.

Susan Howard

Thanks Redhawk. That's her.

Also, Steve Canaly (spelling ?) from the same show.

Tom Selleck is one of the good guys. Should be plenty of pictures out there of him. Some of them probably have guns in them.

One would be amazed at how much porn comes up when using the search words "pro gun celebrity."

Or maybe one wouldn't be surprised.

If I was a resident of her state, I'd be yelling her name from the rooftops, wearing a t-shirt with that photo on the front, and helping out in her campaign.

I once heard Queen Latifah had an arsenal, a lot of military-style arms. Is there any truth to this?

Jeri Ryan (7 of 9) mentioned in an article that she likes to shoot real guns. She was disappointed that the phaser rifles on the show had 'no kick'. (And she's single again. :D )
Also, Andrea Parker likes target shooting and stunt driving! She's mentioned that in interviews during both The Pretender and her new show Less Than Perfect. From her bio at the Less Than Perfect website:
"...she enjoys photography, travel, stunt driving and target shooting."

The old Gun Games mag would have lots of pics of celebrities at gun games: Lou Ferigno (The Hulk) shoots IPSC, they had a pic of Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg at a celebrity trap shoot, ....the Carridene brothers....a few others. (Apologies on all the misspelled names)

I think I heard (or read in one of these threads) that Sara Michelle Gellar and Gillian Anderson are gun friendly. I try not to use the Pro-Gun tag, cause...let's face it. Just cause someone owns a gun, or likes to shoot, doesn't always mean they're 'One of Us'.

Only problem with celebrity 'pro-gunners' is alot of them are the elitists type of We can have guns, cause we're Important/Rich/Famous/Whatever. So...careful what you wish for...

Thanks all.

The banquet went off without a hitch (save for the slow food service).

It was packed and nearly sold out with only two empty tables, and these were due to last-minute cancelations.

Lots of politicos and vendors. The paintball, airsoft and LaserShot ranges were a hit.

Of particular interest was an NPR guy who was walking around doing interviews and collecting audio sounds. He said the story will air on Monday (maybe multiple times during newsbreaks?). If you hear a guy shooting paintball, that will likely be me.

On pages 448 and 449 of the book The One Shot Brotherhood by Norm and Rocky Chandler there are two pictures of Steven Seagal at the bench with his # 33 Chandler Sniper rifle.

I recall where Steven Segal gave an interview in a gun rag, where he described how much chooting he does on a weekly basis. He also used his personal .45 1911s in quite a few movies.
