Fun: Ruger Bearcat or Single Six
Serious .22 shooting: Ruger MKII or MKIII (regular or 22/45)
Practice for Self Defense: S&W 317 and Advantage Arms upper for Auto (Glock 23 in my case)
Stick in the pocket on walks: S&W 2214 or Beretta 21A
I own and shoot all or the above but Beretta, but I have had one in the past and loved it.
My 317 and AA Glock get shot more than all of my other handguns combined.
I like using a .22 better than dry firing. Glock is for all practical purposes the same gun (trigger, etc.) and the 317 has same trigger pull and same grips (Pachmyer COMPACs) as my 2 S&W 64Xs and Taurus 85UL.
