I'm looking for an aftermarket accessory to make it easier to rack the slide on my G26 Gen 4. I know there are a bunch out there, but can anyone make any recommendations based on their personal experience (not hearsay)?

Requirements:
1) Must not affect reliability
2) Relatively inexpensive
3) Easy to install

Thanks

Concur. Had one of these on a G42, and it worked well. I did sand it down, to make less of a bulge when pocket carried.
Frankly, I don't understand why gunmakers don't make the racking grooves a little more, what, tactile? One of the great things on a P365 are the aggressive racking grooves...even with wet or slippery hands, it is possible to rack the slide, especially to clear an (infrequent!) stoppage.
Gave up on several really otherwise great Kahr pistols, because they were really tough to rack.

I have been considering trying out Talon slide grips on my slim line Glocks for better adhesion on the slide serrations.

You need this because you have physical limitations? Because I find even older folks with serious arthritis can rack a slide when shown how to do it using proper technique.

Strong hand: grip pistol in shooting grip, trigger finger straight along slide. Wrist and forearm against your belly.

Support hand: wrap hand over top of slide to rear of ejection port making sure entire palm is cupped over the slide. Support forearm against belly.

When you rack the slide, keep your wrists and hands locked and use your shoulders to squeeze your elbows together. Makes it very easy to rack a slide this way.

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but it appears you don’t have any experience with physical limitations.

all that you posted sounds good, unless you’re the one with the problem. I tried all that tactical stuff.

adding the Vickers slide racker let’s me rack the slide the way I did before before my stroke

Closing this thread out. I got the Vickers today and it's perfect for my purposes. Like it so much I just ordered one for my other Glock.

Simple, relatively affordable, made in USA - Trifecta.

Thanks again all.
Glad you found a solution!

Stay safe.
