Okay, I want to re-stock most of my handguns. My CZ-97 will wait, because I don't think anyone makes grips for it.

First up, my 625. The Hogue rubber grips are neato, I suppose, but a revolver needs nice grips. I dunno about wood on a stainless revolver, though.

Next, my Government Model. The grips need to be ambi cut for when I get the ambi safety installed. I'm thinking faux ivory would look nice, contrasting nicely with the matte blue finish.

Thirdly, my S&W 25-5. Assuming Bluesbear doesn't get his paws on this one, too, it's more than likely going to get Tru-Ivory grip panels plus a Tyler T-Grip.

Any ideas or recommendations? Let's see some pics of your nice grips to give me ideas. Specifically, I'd like to see how Eagle Secret Service grips look on a round-butt N-Frame. The only pictures I can find are for J-Frames. I need a grip that fills my hand, but isn't too bulky.

I think ebony will look nice on a stainless gun, contrasting well with faux ivory or American elk on a matte blue gun...

Wow. I feel like an interior decorator. Um...uh...my masculinity is threatened! Uh...uh...SPORTS! :uhoh:

I think I said the same thing before, but check out Nutmeg Sports for real ivory if you're considering one of the more expensive faux ivories. Search on ebay for seller "loobey". That's them and if you can pick up a set around the reserve price (which you should be able to), the price will be pretty close.

I recently aquired some Miculek grips for one of my Smiths, WOW!!!!!! What a difference!!! They really feel good, work good, index consistently, are comfortable, and overall very nice. You would think that this Miculek guy knows a thing or two about revolver shooting after using them.

My one complaint? They are LONG, they extend below the bottom of the frame quite a ways. CCW might be a problem with grips this long. Other than that they are two thumbs up.

The only other grip solution I have found so far is service panels and a Tyler T.
It works.

Don't know about the CZ, and on the 1911 as long as they are fully checkered and sharp I really don't care. Currently using factory Colt Cocobolo on most everything.
