Hi, I'm fairly new here. But I'll get to the point. I need a good, reliable, and most importantly, constant, series of armed self defense stories and articles. The explantion is kinda long, but suffice it to say I'm debating. Any help would be appriciated, thanks in advance!

There is a thread a couple lines down "Have you ever used your gun" or something to that extent. Lot's of good ones in there.

Welcome to the forum!

Join the NRA !!! Get their mag free when you are a member, called The American Rifleman -- in it ,every month , is a collum caled "The Armed Citizen " and it has verified stories {7 to 10 } of law-abideing citizens who have used their firearms to stop a crime.

I've been a Life Member of the NRA for over 25 years and we WOULD NOT have our 2nd Amendment Rights WITHOUT THE NRA !!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT ---- some/most public libraries carry the American Rifleman ---- BUT --- YOU SHOULD JOIN ANYHOW !!!

+100 on joining the NRA. The monthly section "Armed Citizen" is indeed excellent, wide ranging and very convincing. I scan that page to a PDF file every month and have saved them just "for the record". Well written, good reading; even fun reading ... i.e. about how folks are learning to take care of themselves.

Yes I leave the "Armed Citizen" on my coffee table until my wife screams at me to clean the house, and get rid of that junk on the coffee table. This also in the 'America's First Freedom' mad if you choose that one instead of the American Rifleman.

You can access the "Armed Citizen" from the NRA website as well as archived stories. You can find hundreds on-line right away, I would encourage membership but it is not necessary to read these online.
