Anyone have suggestions for a good aftermarket grip to help comfort the recoil with .357 hunting rounds on my Ruger Blackhawk?

I use rubber Ajax grips that look like ivory on a SBH of mine. They add a little weight also and somehow cushion recoil rather well. good luck

Look no further than Pachmayr: good variety of grip types, great material, good price.

I had my Pachys on a 45-70 T/C Contender, and it certainly made a difference.

These are "Presentation" grips. Shown on a DA, but this is the style they make for Ruger SAs.

Learn not to fight the recoil and let the revolver roll up in your hand like it's suppose to do.

I like Eagle Gunfighter grips, smooth for heavy recoil, checkered for light recoil. They allow the gun to rotate some in the hand without being rediculous.

I may just try that to start. Not sure how much gloves will help either, since I'll be wearing them in the winter while hunting.
