Yeah, like we've never heard this one before... but it's true. I swear!

The NRA has a list of materials you need to have on hand to teach a basic pistol class. This list includes:
- a semiauto pistol. I think I have this covered.
- a DA revolver. I suspect I have this covered too. ;-)
- a SA revolver. How embarassing..... :-(

I'm thinking of a small cowboy style .22. Or a .357. Or....

Any thoughts? I'd like to stay fairly inexpensive...

If you mean what type SA then I'd suggest either the Ruger or Taurus...both are good guns and very affordable.

As for caliber, 357 would be a good choice because you could shoot 38's out of it...but if you don't have a .22 in one of the other (pistol/revolver) I'd probably lean more towards that caliber.

good luck

Ruger Single-Six, but be careful as they're real easy to get addicted to. :)

I have a 22/45 and a P22, but no .22 revolvers.

I'd like something light and easy for a newbie to shoot, but then again I'd also like a .45 Colt for me... but since this is for training purposes, I'm leaning towards a stainless .22.

Small and cute and single action?
That's easy.

A bearcat.
