To make room for an additional safe I had to sell one of the smaller ones I have had for years to get a larger one. I sold it with the gun racks don't ask me why :)

So now I am in the process of looking for dehumidifier along with gun racks for pistols. So what would some of your recommendations be and where to shop for them? It has been a long time since I had to purchase some.

It would also be nice to see some of your safe organization by posting some of your pics as well.

I have a few long guns that will go in the safe but most are pistols.

Thank you

i got a Remington dehumidifier at gander mountain and its not that bad in mine
its about $30 and its easy to use and small

I made these pistol stands from some scrap lumber that I had in the garage, so I could put all my handguns on one shelf in the safe without having to stack them on top of each other. I have an eva dry dehumidifier on the top and bottom shelf and a Temp/Humidity gauge, 12V strip lights on each side. Safe bolted down.

No one else with ideas, because I am having a terribly hard time finding any racks like I had previously.

I'm convinced that one or two Golden Rods is all any safe needs. They advise using the largest one that will fit flat on the floor. I've pulled the safe's shelves out about 1/4th of an inch from the back wall to increase air circulation. Everybody sells GRs, but Midway used to have good prices.

I have purchased Cabelas 4 & 6 handgun racks in the past and they work great. A company called "SafeArt" also sells them and they are a few dollars cheaper as Cabelas raised their prices a couple of dollars since I last ordered them.
