Hello would anyone know where i could find a cocking piece (unthreaded) for a 7mm Rem.Mag model 4712 churchill highlander by kassnar. I would rather buy the entire bolt action instead, but if not the cocking piece will do for now to make this rifle work. God Bless !!

I had one of those in .270 Winchester that with factory ammo was so so but with neck sized reloads was spectacular. Gun Parts Corp has always been my go to place for gun parts.

The Churchill Highlander rifle was manufactured in Italy for Kassnar Imports by FIAS (Fabrique Italiani Armi Sabatti) probably around 1986.

Charles Daly was the last company still in business here that had any connection to them (Michael Kassnar).
And they closed the doors in 2010.

I doubt if you can find any parts for one now.

Wrong Charles Daly now anyway.
They won't be able to help you.

A letter from Michael Kassnar posted on the Charles Daly Website on January 29, 2010 indicated that Charles Daly and KBI were going out of business and closing their doors effective January 29, 2010.

As of the SHOT Show held in Las Vegas in January, 2012, Charles Daly and CD DEFENSE have announced their return to the US market with distribution by Trans World Arms LLC of Harrisburg, PA.

Unless I'm mistaken, Mr. Kassnar has nothing to do with the new company.
Only the Charles Daly name remained the same.

If you can borrow one to copy, perhaps a machinist could make one for you. Someone versed in guns and machining could also possibly reverse engineer one from measuring what you have, viewing several photos, and spending a little time drawing up a plan for one to cut on a mill and/or lathe.

Numrich(e-gunparts)lists the unthreaded cocking piece as: Cocking Piece (Unthreaded)

KASSNAR | CHURCHILL HIGHLANDER

SKU: 1225240C
"out of stock" maybe you can get on a waiting list?
