I have a Nef handi rifle (22-250) that I bought nearly two years ago and have only shot maybe 10rds through. well that being said I have a fantastic laminated wood stock on it that has one little nick on it from getting it out of the safe. I really want to put a synthetic stock on it and keep my wood one
nice and new but I can not find replacements anywhere.

Does anyone have any idea one where I can find one?

I have two of the rifles one 223 and a 308 survivor. ya you can call h r and get a stock or you can put one off any of the rest of there rifles on it they all fit. I wanted to buy the thumhole stock for the survivor and they said it wouldn't fit so I got it for the 223 and said hell with it and tried it... just like it was made for it.

I guess Ill call them Ive thought about it but just never have. How do you like that .308? Ive been thinking about that being my next barrel after I get some more brass loaded up lol

I bought one of the Tamer 20guage shotguns with the very short buttstock like a "Snake Charmer". The buttstock was useless. I ordered and new stock and had it in about 8-10 days.

Go to the site, click on customer support and the barrel accessary program. Scroll down, the stocks are listed there.

If you call be sure and tell them what you are swapping out. I had to have a longer stock bolt. They sent one to me free of charge.

wow I just looked down on the barrel acc. program and there they were. :banghead:

thanks guys

And iyao Its a great rifle some say its "ok" accurate but Ive never had a problem and love the overall size. the down side is you have to completely change your shooting position to reload

Thanks, I have a break action smoker that gets a workout every fall.... Reloading cartridges is not a problem. :D I'm leaning toward the .223 for ammo availablity. Academy Sports has a Rossi with a cheap scope for $299, they don't carry the NEF...:cuss: but from what I can tell it's a knock off thats close enough for govmunt work.

with my 223 and 50gr hornadys laoded with reloadee 10x I can put as many shots as I want to take under a quarter all day. the 308 like the 150 gr bullets but not the 168 gr. and I can keep them around 3/4 at 100 with 5 rounds. load it long you don't have to worry about a box magazine
