I would say it will be a lesson that sticks with him (hopefully).

Unfortunately, it could push both him and her into the ranks of anti's.

"The evil gun went off! I was almost killed! Guns are bad!"

Bleh.

I bet his story will be something along the lines of "I was just standing there, I barely touched it and it just went off!" instead of "like an idiot I just walked up and pulled the trigger"

I wonder if that kid had to flick off the safety to fire? or if it was lying there cocked and hot.

I Know This May Be A Contraversial Viewpoint But....

I believe that legislation mandating stricter controls on handguns, and a renewal of the Assault Weapon Ban, would have prevented this from ever happening.

the only clean response I can think of is.

"Stupid is as Stupid Does"

What a complete moron.

What was a person, whos first impulse when walking into a room was to go to the closest shotgun and pull the trigger, even doing in the gun store?

And +1 to people that just leave loaded shotguns lying around.

Not exactly Mensa

The real question you should be asking is, why is the safety not on? That looks alot like a Mossberg 500 cruiser, which has a safety on the back of the weapon thats clearly visible.

I'm fairly certain Treo was being sarcastic. Please replace the batteries in your sarcasm detector, they seem to have run low.

I bet the tigers only eat the defective young, and they are smart enough to figger it out.
