There is a bill pending in the state capital that if passed would finally allow out of state CCW holders whose States are recognized by Nevada to carry while in the State. There is no opposition to this bill. The caveat is that Nevada would only recognize states that have stringent CCW requirements similar to its own. But this is good news to all as it will allow Nev. CCW holders to carry in other states once there is a reciprocal law in place. Here is the article on the Review Journal Las Vegas for further information. Maybe someday we will have a nationally recognized CCW for most if not all states. That would be great.

Will be good but...

Living in NV... Well it will mostly be good for us. However, just because NV will let other states CCW here it may not be reciprocal. For instance, the PSRK (where most of my relatives still reside) is not reciprocal and I doubt it will ever be, can't take several of my guns there, no high cap mags and no threaded bbls. and definately not transporting loaded guns, permit or no permit. I’m hoping that other states, in order to CCW in NV will have to allow NV CCW holders the privilege in their state.
