Never bought anything on Gunbroker...questions

I appreciate all the advice. I bid on the Blackhawk and got it for $635. Mailed the USPS money order today and just have to wait a while. I asked the seller if I had to pay a fee to Gun Broker and he said Gun Broker is apparently not charging a fee. Great, but 1% would hardly be a deal breaker. Even so, it was a pretty painless experience.

I think you will be satisfied I have bought a lot of stuff on gunbroker and other places online in the last 15 years with a 99% no hassle success rate. But like anyplace things can happen I recently bought a G.I surplus MOLLE ACU FLC Vest Fighting Load Carrier on ebay the seller entered a tracking but showed no history of shipment ebay gave me a refund after seller went silent.

So rules to follow are look at the seller rating and history, look at the details of the item closely, if you can use a credit card for better buyer protection, or at least keep records of payment with tracking information of payment. For the most part online sellers are honest and legit but in this day and age you do have to beware of scammers
