OK So a few years ago i bought a American Eagle SS luger, I know some people have had issues with them cycling. I must have tried a bunch of different 9mm ammo, from 115gr, 124gr, 115 grain +p and 124gr +p, with the same result. I am a collector so some of my guns rarely get shot and sit in a safe. Fast forward a month or so ago when i bought a used cheap Kimber Solo Carry for 250 from an LGS. When i shot it, it has cycling issues as well, which i kind of suspected since it was so cheap. I called Kimber and to my luck, no one had sent it in for warranty before and they fixed it, paid for shipping both ways and it was free. it runs perfect now. I love the ergos on the kimber. I tried the same 147gr ammo in the Luger and Whalla, she came to life and cycled perfectly. I always thought +p Ammo would have more gusto to cycle a weapon that was developed for higher power military ammo, i was wrong, to my benefit since i paid a pretty good amount for the luger.
