Hey guys I need some information on a gun I just bought. It says Compact on the left hand of the slide. It has the same slide and barrel as my Champion but has the Ultra Compact frame and it is considered lightweight per the serial number starting with LW. I believe it is considered the Loaded model with Novak Night Sights, beavertail grip safety, extended thumb safety and combat trigger.
Is this frame an alloy steel frame or is it some high grade aluminum???? There are a couple of small nicks where the black is rubbed off the frame grip and I would like to touch it up. Can I use Aluminum Black from Birchwood to do so or do I bluet it like any other blue gun. Any help would be appreciated.
