Looks like the 44mag version. Ruger only makes those in 44mag and 45colt. I got the 44mag last year in Feb when they first came out. I have only put 75 rounds through it.

13gr of HS-6 with 240gr Lead is D/A (Deadly Accurate :) )

I really like this gun, but Ruger should have done a little more design to ejector rod tip. It looks nakid without knurled button on the end.

Guess I'm old fart school, like the early Colts & S&W the way they latched up.

But the gun is a tremendous winner in excellence. Just what a person needs while walking around the woods in Alaska...or LA California.

Great for penetration on drive-by shooter artist. :D

I just got mine and I love it!!

I only got to shoot about 100 rounds through it yesterday, but it is great. I really hammers things and is the perfect packing size. I have an El Paso Saddlery Three Persons holster for it and it carries like a dream.

I have had a 7 1/2 Redhawk since I was 13 and I am pleased to add this to the stable for many years of service.

Good Luck with the Ruger,

Matt

I'm very happy with mine, it's been quite accurate and reliable. I originally planned to put the factory wood stocks on it ands scrap the Hogue's but I found the Hogues fit me very well and the factory wood ones are a bit tough on me with heavy loads.

I bought the 4 inch .45 colt Redhawk last friday. Planning on hitting the range Sat. The Redhawk makes my three inch GP-100 look puny. :)

I'm jealous. I want a .44 Redhawk so bad! I've got an SP101 and want a GP100 down the road too!
