Regarding the choice of powder, Sam says Reloder 15 gives the same accuracy and speed as 203B but he “just happed to have 8 pounds of [203B] and decided to use it in this rifle.” Interestingly, Sam was jumping his 105s about forty thousandths. That’s right, .040″ OFF the lands. The record gun has a BAT MB action, Shehane Tracker stock, and Krieger 29″, .237″ bore, 1:8″ twist HV barrel."

Obviously this is excellent shooting but I really don't have much interest in Benchrest shooting other than to see what the mechanical limit of a system is. What I'd really like is to see him shoot a 20-shot group on that target followed by a another 20-shot group on a 600 yard F-Class target following F-TR rules i.e. prone, front bipod, rear bag, no mechanical elevation/windage adjustment front or rear etc. That way I'd get a better idea of how much accuracy you can expect to give up between the two disciplines. This would be helpful.

I got a 3" group at 100 yards with my new rifle and Aimpoint with 4 MOA dot. I was happy to get that.

.686" at 600...not sure it's possible.
