Bah I could do that!:neener: Only one shot out of my group would be on paper so I would have a .223 hole.:D

my best group out of my factory savage model 111 at 100 yards was about 3/4 moa, which equates too about a 5 inch grp at 600 yards but due to serious parallax issues wind weather ME SHOOTING I bet i couldnt get a 12 inch grp at that range lol

Eh, there's a couple dozen guys on this board who can shoot better. Or so they claim......
The usual claim of accuracy is " 1/4" all day long @ 100 yards with my factory........." I almost always disregard those posts. Anyone who has actually shot a 1/4" group knows how hard it is to do.....let alone with a factory rifle.

But.....that is some incredible shooting @ 600 yards!

I once shot ten rounds through the same hole.

The target was 2" away from the muzzle, though. :D

My best group remains three in 1" at 50. :(

I think I could do it. If you consider one shot to be a group and the rifle happens to be .50 cal.

That is amazing shooting and equipment IMHO.

That is amazing. I would like to see what he could do at a grand.

The best I ever did was 0.323 MOA at 500 yards with my built Rem. 700 PSS in .308. I don't think that I would ever be able to do it again though. The guy that I was shooting with that day was also the same guy that built my rifle. When he saw the group, he went nuts.

I can pretty consistantly get 3.5-4" at 600y with the right wind. Of course, that is out of a $4000 rifle with $2000 glass and a month spent working up the load. Hundreds of rounds fired to get to that point.

That is unreal that it is even possible to shoot a group that size at that range.

Holy crap. I'm not sure I can poke holes in paper w/ a freehand pencil to that degree of accuracy!

The gun was shooting 1 to 1.5 inch groups pretty consistently at 600 yards at my home range.

A home range? Well, there you go. Now I know what I want for Father's Day ...
