For maybe half the price I might get one just because it is so curious, and I doubt it will be made long. I could see something like that showing up as a prop in sci-fi shows or something like that.

It'll sell. The rail will sell to the folks who want to hang stuff on the gun - and kindly note that mounting something on the rail will not make the gun bulkier, because the cylinder adds an equal amount of volume.

The big point being the Korth name. They have a gilt-edged reputation. This might be a money-maker for them, and crack open the American market.

Again, the whole concept of Sky Marshall - short barrel and frame to make an easily concealed weapon carried in and drawn from a holster - is not compatible with add-ons. What you plan to add that won't make the gun any wider than the width of the cylinder and will still allow it to be holstered?

Somebody at Korth is going to have to decide whether they want to make a serious gun or just another tacticool toy.

They had a gilt-edged reputation. I don't see this doing much to enhance it.

Bore axis too high, the 45-degree underlug-like thing too ugly, and the rail on the barrel is too unnecessary.

Something that could go either way is the cylinder- sizing it for 9mm specifically makes it look a little odd and makes the whole gun look more disproportionate than it already is, but it does save both weight and size.

Maybe we could get a Webley .380 Mk III pocket revolver in 9X19mm.

I really like the Webleys! The Korth? Not so much, as in "Hell, no!"

At first glance, I thought it was either a starter pistol or one of those cheap, low grade, pot-metal revolvers that came out of Spain or Belgium - maybe South America - a generation or two back . . .

Ugly but very interesting. Would make it about a half inch shorter for the same barrel length .38 or .357.

I'm not so much of a traditionalist that I don't have an open mind.

A) Wow that is ugly. I don't understand at all, in a gun that is supposed to be compact, why they would add that stupid web between the barrel and the frame.

B) El Godfather will be along shortly to extol the virtues of this revolver....

I'm gonna buy one and throw it in the river, so I can be content in the knowledge that there is one less of those ugly things in the ...... OK Just kidding. Might be a great carry gun, not something I would own.

I would take one if you gave it to me, but that's about it.

The main reason for a 9mm revolver is to be able to reload with moon clips...which apparently this fugliness lacks. If I want a 35 caliber revolver that used speed loaders I already have a mountain of them to choose from. And I could buy two of them for the cost of this gun.

Do not want.

Life's too short to dance with ugly women, or spend $900 on an ugly gun! If I REALLY need a 9mm, I'd buy an M&P Shield and spend the other $500 on a nice Model 19.....just sayin.

IMO, natman is right; this is how a 9mm revolver should always have been designed, with a short cylinder and a frame to match.

Did anyone describe how the cartridges are extracted? If they did, I missed it; could someone point out the post?

My first thought is did USFA buy out Korth? They quit making wonderfully made single action revolvers to start making the ZIP GUN.

I think someone at Korth just got fired.
That info was supposed to be released April 1.

It looks like the Marketing people from Pontiac now work at Korth. The same ones that let the Aztec go to market

Lol, maybe a look at the other side will change your mind

or not...
good lord...is that a rail section behind the cylinder, or is that for, uh...aesthetics?
this is going in with the chiappa rhino as "so ugly that I kind of want one"
look at that though...supposed to be the industry's first 9mm speedloader.
Not mine - fugly and ribbed. Bleah.
