We have a new Australian made ammo available here in Australia.
Buffalo River Ammo in 223. Two loads are available.
223 Rem 55gn Sierra Blitzking @3200fps
and 223 Rem 55gn Sierra GameKing @3200fps.
The GameKing is my choice for all round shooting, paper and small game, rabbits and foxes. I'd like some idea from 223 shooters as the only difference is the projectiles.

BlitzKing is a thinner jacket bullet designed for shooting smaller varmint type critters.
The thinner jacket also means you need to pair it more carefully to barrel twist and velocity.
Get it turning too fast and moving at too high a velocity they can disintegrate in mid-air.

I too much prefer the heavier jacket GameKing

Game kings are great, but I like them heavier (barrel twist matters and mine is a fast one).

Youre not going to have a blitz king fly apart out of a 223. Glad you have new ammo. Too bad they took your guns away.

A good buddy of mine had some Aussie .223 ammo and it proved to be the most accurate ammo out of the whole lot of factory ammo that he had. Including Federal, Winchester, Hornady, etc. In fact I shot his rifle at 100 yards using 5 rounds and placed all 5 rounds into one raggedy hole. I don't recall the brand name but I do remember it being made in Australia, using Sierra type bullets.
