Would be hard to lose grip on those.Much nicer Serrations
Isn’t the nano a striker fired action? As a Nano fan, I want one. Why, because it is a Nano.Same dimensions, weight Height etc. The new Gen now called the APX Carry will now feature a slide lock and the new Serrations. Changes in grip. The trigger will still be a DAO which I love, but still will not appeal to the light Striker fire trigger crowd. It will still use the same mags etc. I personally Liked the fact that the Nano did not have a slide lock, but they at least did a great job of recessing the new one. If this means the price might drop on the Nano, I might just get one as I have always wanted to have a second. That said, I want to shoot the new model. Probably do not need a crystal ball to say I will be purchasing.

Here is a better Pic to see the differences.
slide lock
grip change
added more texture to grip
trigger guard larger
Much nicer Serrations
That’s correct. It is not a precocked striker (I think) and is classified as a DAO action.Isn’t the nano a striker fired action?
Would that give it double strike capability? That’s correct. It is not a precocked striker (I think) and is classified as a DAO action.
I don’t think the Nano has a double strike capability.Would that give it double strike capability?

I doubt that there is much difference the gun other than the grip and added features. I would order one Immediately and without hesitation other than the fact that my Kahr arrives tomorrow. Frigging Kahr Magazines are sure expensive. And not easy to find. Kahr CM9 only ships with one mag. This new APX looks interesting. Will wait on some other brave soul to give it a trial run.
So if the sub chassis is the same I wonder if that means one could, in theory, transform their Nano into one of these new guns.
I know its impracticality costly, just an academic thought. I wonder if the slides will interchange? Or more importantly, the grip frame. I have never cracked a replaceable grip frame, and I anticipate there are enough Nanos out there that they will be available for a long time, but I'm just wondering.
My LGS has the Nano on sale for a good price flirting with what a pocket .380 is going for. I'm on the fence as to what makes the most sense.
I handled a full size APX when they first came out. I thought it was hideous and the cocking serrations were god awful looking.Would be hard to lose grip on those.
But for myself it did need a traction grip. Especially for long sessions when my hand would get sweaty. And I do like the new serrations. Beat the grip tape. The more I look at this gun, the more I think I prefer the bar of soap smoothness of the Nano. It really didn't have a snag point on it. I used to tuck mine IWB in a sticky holster on trips to the store and whatnot.

I kinda dig the diy ethic and that whiskey was so bad.........at first.
