What am I missing for options for 9mm single stack?

I'm noticing a distinct lack of ambi magazine releases (not reversible, but true ambi), with the exception of the PPS. And I don't like the Walther mag release

It doesn't take very long at all to warm up to the Walther mag release. It's one of the best designs out there (especially for conceal carry).

Not if you have small hands like me, fish. I can't hit it with my thumb. I much prefer the thumb button. I have a P99 airsoft pistol, and I just can't get used to the magazine release the way I am with a thumb buton.

6 rounds of 9mm weighs ~ 2.5 ounces
