New Barrel

I bought a TX22 about a month ago . I am disappointed in its accuracy and have read reviews since about them having bad barrels , mainly with the first years models . I ordered a new barrel for mine just taking a chance that I got a bad barrel . My new barrel got here today . I looked in the barrel and it looked like it had a couple thousand rounds through it without cleaning . Does this fouling look normal for a brand new barrel ? I think that I got a used barrel and probably worst than what I have now .

I called Taurus today and told them about the fouling in the barrel . She put me on a brief hold and came back and said that I asked about your barrel and they told me that all TX22 barrels are test fired to see if they meet standards after the problems that they had with the barrels with the first models leading up and then not shooting accurately . As dirty as this barrel was I am not sure that it doesn’t have the same problem . It took me about 2 hours of soaking and cleaning to get the fouling out .
