couldn't pass it up at an attractive sale price. Silver Pigeon 1 Sporting with 32" barrels. Beretta is now using a better grade of wood on their base model 600 series guns. Here it is with my 32" Browning 725. Both guns weigh in at around 8 pounds even, but handling characteristics are a bit different. I like them both...

Very nice! It's hard to pass up an attractive Beretta. Beautiful wood!

Thanks. I was really surprised by the wood on the gun.

With all the current focus on AWB-related purchases (and price run-ups), it's nice to see you picking up a future heirloom! It's a beauty!

to tell you the truth, if I had bought the Beretta first, I probably would not have purchased the 725. Both guns are superior target guns, at least to me, but the Beretta was $800 less than the Browning... :uhoh:

What's the going price NIB for on I these puppies? Beretta says $2,500 but I'm sure is a bit less.

That is nice wood on both guns. I might pick up an SP1 one day.
