New Brass?

I'm gathering the Components to Reload for my K98 Mauser. I recently purchased 100 new pieces of 8x57mm Winchester Brass at a Show ($32.00). At present, I've discovered a Web-source that is selling new Remington Brass ($22.00). Do these prices reflect Quality or is the Remington Brass a steal of a deal?

Yup, midway has it for $22.49! But their winchester is $14.99/50, almost 30 bucks per 100. looks like you got it for nearly that at the gunshow. As for a quality difference, I don't see much difference, the winchester stuff I got seems to be good brass.

Actually, I like the Remington brass better than Winchester brass, I have had a couple lots of Winchester brass that split in the neck the first loading, winchester seems to be harder brass than Remington...IMO

I was going purchase 100 pieces ( New Remington Brass) until they (Midway Supply,ie: Web-source) quoted me the S&H Charges. It was pennies short of $11.00. I'll wait and grab some at a Show!
