Should I run new like .223 and .243 cases through a resizing die or are thet ready to load, i've only used new cases for my 30 Herret so I had to.
thanks

When you say "like new" do you mean brand new never fired or really clean fired cases? If they are factory new then they are ready to load, if really clean fired cases then size and check for OAL.

I would at least neck size, chamfer, & deburr them.

Often, some of them have dings or flattened necks from shipment that might give bullet seating problems.

At the least neck size and deburr.New bulk brass in my estimation needs more case prep work than once or twice fired. This is a good time to uniform the length and deburr the flash hole.

Size, trim, deburr and chamfer, will need all of that, due to inconsistant sizing from the factory, and out of round necks from transport. It is rare I don't have to do all the above to brand new unfired brass.

I do the same. And the first time I trimmed them I was amazed that the case mouths were nowhere near square to the case.
