New CMMG/Brownells AR15 .22lr conversion kit

I got the following from Brownell's today, I've had a Ciener conversion on backorder for nearly two months. Appears CMMG will produce a conversion that will ship in it's place.

I love my CMMG AR so I have high hopes of their upcoming conversion kit and their customer service has to beat the infamous Ciener non-support. Anyone have any details about it yet?

Dear Brownells Customer:

We have not been able to secure reliable supplies of the 22 long rifle conversion kit(204-015-010) that you have ordered with us, and therefore, have been forced to discontinue offering it for sale. We have, however, been able to obtain exclusive distribution rights to a comparably designed product from Brownells and CMMG. This 22 long rifle conversion kit exceeds out quality expectations and as always includes our 100% satisfaction guarantee. We expect to begin shipping these kits to customers beginning in mid September. In light of this, we would be happy to switch your current backorder over to this new solution.

A big +1 to Brownells too since they'll honor the old Ciener price I ordered at back in June and also just switch me to the new product so I'm 'in line' still.

Ciener has been hard to deal and has not been supplying his product. The way he's acted, he'll be lucky to ever sell another kit. Both CMMG and Spikes Tactical now have their own kits that they produce in-house. This is good for .22 lr ar shooters.
