My permit renewal is coming due this fall and I have had the required 10yr refresher a couple yrs ago when I took a class with my daughter. Do I need something in addition to that cert for renewal?
The class was not an online one.

It is a county by county thing. Check with your local sheriff. Good luck if you are in Denver or Boulder...

I renewed my permit last year in El Paso county. The letter I got from Maketa stated specifically that no training certificate was required for a renewal.

My sheriff's office told my wife that a hunter's safety card would fulfill the requirement for a "class".

A lady friend of my son's had to jump through many hoops in order to wring her permit out of Denver County, including having to make appointments, this, that, and the other thing.

Makes ya wonder where the concepts of "infringement" and "reasonable" start and end.

I got a letter from the Sheriff yesterday explaining renewal and it's the same as it has been. No problem over here but it sounds like there might be from those few Sheriffs that aren't protesting the new gun laws.
