I fell in love with my newly purchased little Colt Pony Pocketlites so I was going to the gunshow today to look for a Colt .380 Government Pocketlite. They had a .380 Government but it wasn't a pocketlite so I starting looking at a Lady Elite. I saw one of these on the internet auctions a few weeks ago and had been thinking about it but never saw one in person. I don't normally buy guns that say "Lady xxxx" on them. Since I already have 2 Pony Pocketlites that I use for backup carry purposes, I was interested in a Mustang to use at the range. Single action is my preference for shooting at the range so I thought the Mustang would be great fun.

I just can't seem to get good closeups even though I use a macro setting so once again I apologize for the quality of my pictures.
The mag that came with this gun is butt ugly but when I was showing my new gun to a friend of mine awhile ago she really liked the mag with the extended baseplate. I prefer and use the mags with the regular baseplate and let my little finger curl under. My friend also liked the gun (she doesn't normally comment on too many of them). I tried to find the auction that had the other Lady Elite on it but I guess it's been sold since I can't seem to find it anymore (Gunbroker, Auctionarms, & Gunsamerica).
Anyway, I'll still look for the elusive .380 Government Pocketlite (non-blue....forgot to mention that I prefer stainless/hard chrome/silver or two-tone guns).
Going to go clean & lube "Lady" and take her to the range tomorrow. I can't wait. Never thought I'd get so excited about a little .380....me and my other big ole "boomer" guns!!!!
I can't find any info on the Lady Elite. Anyone know some web sights that may be helpful?
