New CTD Catalog...exercise in futility.

Even before the recent events, back when pricing was "normal", CTD's shipping and handling fees were outrageous and I chucked their catalogs on the way in from the mailbox.

I started chucking ctd catalogs 6-8 years ago with there "shipping" charges. Last time I checked them for shipping cost. They had different warehouses. That was my limit. I don't care of they had somethit I needed. I'd rather go with out

CTD has been dead to me for nearly 20 years.

I was a regular CTD customer.

Until 4-1/2 years ago.

They'll never see another dime from me.

Some years back, I placed an order from CTD; at the time, they were running some sort of promotion "get this widget free with purchase of $XX.XX" . . .

I got my order, well above the minimum $, but no free widget. When I called and politely asked about it, I was told they must have forgotten to put it in . . . so I asked if they were going to ship me one, and they said "We don't do that."

As I was asking to speak to a manager, the girl cut me off with a "Too bad for you!", laughed, and hung up on me.

Needless to say, CTD has been dead to me ever since. I just make sure I keep getting their catalog, simply to cost them a little money.

(BTW, I have only good things to say about my experiences ordering from Brownell's and MidwayUSA.)

CTD seems to make the wrong choice every day.

They seem to be on a mission to alienate EVERY customer in North America


They wont get anymore of my coin...

I can't say that me boycotting them would have any effect whatsoever, because I've never bought from them. Never ordered anything from CTD, never plan to.
