I have posted previously I have a INA Tiger in .38 that has a center pin that just does not protrude quite enough to lock up when the cylinder is closed and ready to do business. Well I found a parts gun on Gunbroker that includes the entire operable cylinder and arm assembly. My question is, how much fitting will this require? Here are two pics, one of the part I bought, and one of my Tiger. Meow!

Who knows?

Those guns were put together by a bunch of guys setting on the floor with worn-out files, making .25 cents a day and all the beans they could eat in five minutes at lunch, if they were lucky..

How one cylinder & crane relates to another frame the guy at the other spot on the floor put together is anyones guess.
Even to them.

Quite frankly, it would take a psychic to tell anything from your pictures.

Gunsmiths use Micrometers and Dial Indicators to measure differences like that.

I wish you luck, but you would have had an easier row to hoe if you had started out with a worn out S&W or something somebody had ever worked on before.

I have been into guns and gun repair for about 55 of my 67 years.
And I never even seen an INA Tiger before!

rc, I was hoping that their lack of craftsmanship would work to my advantage. I assume it would be better to just remove the cylinder rod, which has the center pin incorporated into it, and replace it rather than the whole cylinder assembly. I'm no revolver guy though so I assume much here.
