I just acquired a nce new FN SPR in 308.. The McMillan stock was the deal maker for me...I was considering getting a Savage or a Rem 700, then upgrading the stock, but the price was almost the same...

Anyhow, it comes wit ha Picatinny rail scope mount, and I have the Glass off my old M1A I just sold, but he Objective bell is so large, it hits the barrell...

I had this riser on my AR, so I swapped it on...it works, and will be quick removal, but is it too high??..it is comfortable, and my cheek/chin is in contact wit hthe stock, so it isnt bad ergonimics wise...

That looks way to high for me. Just try a set of medium or tall rings and that should be good enough.Mounted that high I think you'll have a problem geting the same cheek weld (if any) every time, that will certainly have an affect on your shooting. The only other option would be to add some height to the comb.
