please help me scope my FN SPR 308

I have narrowed it down to a couple of scopes

Leoupold mark 4 6.5x20 $1000 brand new from a dealer

Nightforce NSX 5.5x22 $1600

is the Nightforce $600 better? Unfortantely I can't find a NF dealer that stocks them in my area so I can't compare.

This scope is going on a FN SPR 308 that I recently bought.

The price I got on the Leoupold is making it harder to get the NF if it was only a couple hundred it wouldn't be much of a decision but, $600 is a lot.

You can get a VX3 6.5-20X50 with varmit reticle for about 600.00. Target turrets.

I put an IOR Valdada 2.5-10x42mm Tactical on my FN PBR XP. I like it a lot. It's very sturdy, has a 30mm tube, and great glass.

Both of the scopes you listed have very high magnifications. Is this rifle primarily going to be a long-range target gun? Otherwise, I would recommend something with a bit smaller low-end magnification.
