Picked up a H&K vp9 last week. I already have a p-30 but I did not have a full sized striker fired gun. I liked the idea that the vp9 used the same mags as my p-30. I bought the LE version ( night sights & three mags), that gives me a total of seven mags.
With only a hundred rounds through it so far, I'm still evaluating it but as I said, so far so good. I like the trigger. I think I'm going to be more accurate from the draw with it ,due to the lighter trigger,as compared to the p-30.It's nearly identical to the p-30 ,so far as feel in my hand,maybe a little more nose heavy.
I bought a BladeTech Total Eclipse holster for it. It's an injection moulded plastic design , I hope it holds-up to regular use, i.e.. IDPA, we'll see .
