Hey guys, new here but wanted to see what yall think about the deal I came across. I had a approximately 10 year old Kimber Custom Compact Stainless in .40 cal. It has an roughly done mag well and mepro light nite sights. I liked the gun as it shot great, but it wasnt a 45. A guy at worked traded me a like NIB Colt 1991A1 Stainless Compact and a S&W model 28 Highway Patrol that is also like new.

Did I do Ok ?

Yes, you did good; as your Kimber was worth approximately $450 in trade,
with the S&W model 28 being worth many more dollars (if in LNIB) type of
condition~? Revolver's are making a strong comeback these days; as
virtually all old Smith's in LNIB condition demand top dollar~!

Yeah, you did REALLY good. In fact, if you had just traded for the Highway Patrolman, it still would have been a good deal. So consider the Colt 1991A1 a freebie.

Its simple, are you happy with the two you now have? If so, then yea, you came out just fine. Nevermind the kimber, it isn't what you wanted, now you have what you wanted.
