I know all have been waiting.....

My new barrel nut tool is in hand and I'll be starting a limited production run next week. If all goes right I'll have them ready for my many beta testers within two weeks....I know, I've been promising to get these out but, the design has been more difficult than I thought....still waiting on the patent pending to finalize as well.

The wait will be worth it I think....the first tool that will grab and contact EVERY tooth on the barrel nut...even with the front site tower in place. 360 degrees of contact, just as with the original HammerHead Rifle Tool...I will tell you now, this is a designated high quality barrel nut tool, 100% American Made, this is not a "multi-tool".

Bites hard, Holds Hard!

More to follow, Bob

so...

i got one of the AR15 wrenches to evaluate 2 years ago, and I'm sure they've expected a review a little sooner, but i wanted to get some time with it and actually use it more than once or twice, which I've done now, having built quite a few rifles over the past 2 years with this tool.

anyways, I have to say that this tool rocks. it's WAY better than the dpms and other AR15 wrenches on the market. it's smaller, lighter (so it fits in my little portable tackle box i keep my AR stuff in the truck) but works a lot better.

my LGS actually liked the tool so much, he made me sell him mine, so now i have to order another. he liked it because he's constantly getting guys who try to take their own castle nut off and bugger it up so bad that the other wrenches won't hold, but the hammerhead wrench always works. it's also really easy to use with a torque wrench.

anyway, nice product. check it out

I bought one these a few weeks ago. It is the only wrench I have tried for my AR and it has worked very well, the few times I used it.

(note the Opening post was made two years ago.)

Can this be used on the barrel nut as the title implies? I don't see that functionality, or am I missing something?

Dang. I just purchased two tools that together don't do what yours does. And not as well either. Bummer for me.
But GL to you.

I too am curious if it will work on the barrel nut. It does not look like it based on the drawing taliv provided.

Edit:
After checking out the site it does not appear to work on barrel nuts. Neat little tool none the less.

That's prob my fault. I think bob started two posts two years ago for two different tools and I resurrected the wrong one. I'll ask him when I call to order another tool this week if he ever made the barrel nut tool
