Went to the Denver Knife show this weekend courtesy of Harvey King, and had a good time! It's a small show, but I still managed to blow a good couple of hours there looking!
Two things: First, Mr. King is a very nice fellow, and I told him in person and I will repeat it here: I really appreciated the VIP passes he sent!
Second, I bought a small bird and trout type knife from Mr. King, and I dig it. I will snap some pics later to post, but the fit and finish is outstanding and the sheath is well made and sturdy. Plus, for a knife of this quality, it was a smoking hot deal! I also plan on buying a knife from Al Trujillo at some point. That guy is a hoot!
Tell you guys what, if you ever want to meet a bunch of nice people, go to a knife show. I love me some guns, but you don't seem to get the egos at a knife show that you get at a gun show.
