I have the option to buy a New Haven 600AT 12 gauge. I had never heard of these, but research tells me that it's just a rebranded Mossberg 500. What is their approximate worth? This looks to be in very good condition and comes with two barrels. Also, would Mossberg 500 parts and accessories (mainly chokes) be compatible with this gun?

Would one value them about the same as any other Mossberg 500?

The store branded firearms are generally a bit lower in price.
They are still fine guns but sometimes they will not have a walnut stock but will have a hardwood stock.
Things like that were done for years by most of the major gun makers for Sears,Wards,J.C. Penny, etc.

Close. New Havens are Mossbergs, made at the same plant in North Haven (next town over) CT. Mostly sold by Monty Ward, if my research is right.
That is absolutely correct, Mossberg`s are built in New Haven in the Mossberg plant, and New Havens are built in the Mossberg plant North Haven, but they are basically the same gun, to get parts for it you buy Mossberg..............

Most "Store Brands" were/are valued a bit less than the well-known maker's brand name, but are still solid serviceable shotguns.

If price is good, buy it, clean & lube it, then go have some bang-up fun with it.

It's a great piece, but there's a catch...from the picture, it looks like the stock has been replaced with nice walnut while the pump is still the dull regular wood. Thoughts?
