Want to see cool photos of rare and prototype firearms? Ordnance reports on rifle trials? Armorer's manuals chock full of technical information? Well, it's here:

Forgotten Weapons

So we've had this site up for a year or two now, but it's been pretty crude and only rarely updated. Well, we've relaunched it in a much nicer format, and it will be getting updates a couple times a week. We have a pretty big pile of interesting material to scan and upload - there are lots of cool things coming.

All the information we have is 100% free - the point of having the site is to make all this interesting information accessible, rather than being stuffed in a collector's closet. So come on over and take a look! Some of our more complete sections right now include Aberdeen photos of experimental rifles from the development of both the M1 Carbine and M1 Garand. Today's update was a Browning 1917 shop manual, RPD manual, and RPD armorer's manual.

Very interesting site. Well put together and informative, thanks for sharing the gems of history.
