In that condition that has a modest amount of collector's value in the right circles. The early Leatherman have appreciated in value, especially in good condition. That said, I would use it as readily as a new tool but some would be sad if you did.

I stopped carrying my old farmer's pliers in favor of a Leatherman Wave this spring. No regrets.

The biggest improvement over the older 84 model is now the handles are smooth sided when trying to use the pliers to cut. It was tough using the pliers with those narrow straight edges pressing into the fingers and heel of hand. But then they aren’t designed to replace task specific tools.
